Quick answer
Start with a monofocal if you accept reading glasses. Add a toric if astigmatism matters. Consider EDOF for distance plus screens, and multifocal only if you accept possible night halos. No lens guarantees life without spectacles. An examination can veto any of these.

Can a quiz pick my intraocular lens?
No. An examination and eye measurements are needed to assess suitability. The helper introduces lens families to discuss: monofocal, toric, EDOF and multifocal. Eye health, expectations and the trade-offs of a specific lens matter.
Are premium lenses always better?
No. They add range or astigmatism correction in exchange for cost and possible glare. Many private patients still choose a monofocal.
